Rebranding a property developer for a competitive market
A developer with strong stock and no recognisable identity. We rebuilt positioning, identity and sales collateral around a single promise.
The problem
Horizon had well-built properties in good locations, but prospective buyers could not distinguish them from any other developer in the city. Enquiries arrived seasonally and unpredictably, sales collateral was produced ad hoc by whoever was free, and no two materials looked like they came from the same company.
What we did
- Ran a marketing audit and competitor analysis to establish how buyers actually compared developers.
- Interviewed recent buyers to find the reason people chose Horizon over alternatives.
- Built positioning around that single reason, then wrote the messaging framework from it.
- Designed a full visual identity: logo system, colour, typography, photography direction.
- Produced brand guidelines and rebuilt every sales material against them.
The outcome
- A single, documented positioning the sales team can articulate consistently
- Complete identity system with guidelines specific enough to be followed
- Sales collateral, signage and site hoardings rebuilt to one standard
- Enquiry sources tracked for the first time, ending the guesswork
